I felt compelled to share something that seems to make my day every time it happens. However, I think it might be something that comes along with our Land of 10,000 Lakes.
When I am driving along and realize I need to get into the next lane (especially in rush hour) I put on my blinker and wait for a good samaritan to let me merge in front of them. Not only do ‘some’ people (because we all know we can not rid this world of douchebags) let me take the spot in front of them but they also raise a hand up to let me know “hey don’t worry about it, go right ahead”. It’s like a secret driving language that makes you feel proud to be a Minnesotan.
